Advanced Notice: Evening Edition

  • R.E.M. reunited to play "Country Feedback," with gentleman farmer Bill Berry on bass. It's crazy what you could have had (if you had been there). (via Goldenfiddle)
  • Kelly Osbourne is going to write her memoirs. Normally I would say that she's a little young, but she's been through more than most people will in a lifetime. Plus her dad is Ozzy.
  • Here's some surprising news: Record labels don't like the 99-cent price that Apple has imposed at its music store. In case you're wondering, the labels aren't upset that they can't charge less than 99 cents.
  • More Apple legal business: The Apple vs. Apple suit continues. I think the billionaires will win this one.
  • Gotta Serve Somebody: The Gospel Songs of Bob Dylan, a 90-minute film that covers the making of the Dylan album Gotta Serve Somebody will appear on the Gospel Music Channel. Halleluiah!
  • Everybody loves The Unforgettable Fire, but they didn't always, especially Kurt Loder...
